Are files opening in the wrong app on your PC?

For example, maybe PDFs are opening in your browser instead of your preferred PDF reader, or links are opening in the wrong browser.
The good news is that this is usually very quick to fix.
  • Go to Settings
  • then Apps
  • then Default apps
  • Find the app you want to use, such as your preferred browser or PDF reader
  • and select it.
  • From there, choose which file types or links that app should open by default.
Once that’s done, your files, links and documents should open exactly where you want them to.
