We are delighted to announce that two members of staff at Absolutely PC have become Acronis Certified Engineers, congratulations to Ellie & Ismail.
Office Manager Ismail and First Line Technician Ellie both attended a recent online training course and took an exam to achieve certified engineer status.

Who Are Acronis?
Acronis are experts in cyber protection for businesses and consumers. Founded in 2003, Acronis now has data centres around the globe and is trusted by 500,000 businesses worldwide including all Fortune 1000 companies.
At Absolutely PC, we use Acronis technology to backup customer data to ensure that they have access to their important data in the event of malfunction, theft, fire or other disasters.
What Was Involved?
The course took place over 3 days and featured 3 separate seminars, each 4 hours in length, attendance of all seminars was compulsory to achieve certified engineer status.
Throughout the seminars, Ellie and Ismail learnt about Acronis product functionality, including tips, troubleshooting methods, workarounds, and best practice methods from the experts. Topics covered throughout the training course included:
- Introduction to Acronis cyber backup cloud
- Acronis cyber backup cloud set up and installation
- Configuring Acronis cyber backup cloud
- Backup & recovery operations
- Acronis backup troubleshooting
Following the seminars, Ellie and Ismail were able to sit an exam based on their learnings, which featured 40 questions and had to be sat within 1 week of the final seminar.
After passing with flying colours, both were awarded a certificate from the Acronis academy and gained the official status of “Acronis Certified Engineer”. Take a look at their certificates below.
